DSM Airport Badging

READ ALL BEFORE REQUESTING AIRPORT BADGE

Requirements:

To request an DSM airport badge through US Flight Co the applicant must be employed by US Flight Co or be flight student who has soloed with US Flight Co instructor. Individuals applying for a badge must bring to their badging appointments Id verification documents in accordance with the following:

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT: All students are required to have a flight circle account set-up, in addition they must have a valid credit card on file inside their flight circle account. To do this follow the process below:

#1: Login To Your Flight Circle Account
#2: Navigate To Your Account
#3: Click “Cards” File Tab At The Top
#4: Click “Add Card” At The Top
#5: Follow On Screen Instructions To Complete Adding A Card

Your badge fee will be charged through your flight circle account. If you do not have a valid credit card on file you will not be eligible for a DSM Airport Badge.

Cost:

The cost to obtain a DSM airport badge through US Flight Co is 201.00$. 100.00$ of the badge cost is a deposit and will be refunded only when the badge holder returns the badge to the Des Moines Airport Badging Office. The badge must be returned within 30 days of when US Flight Co notifies badge holder to turn badge in.

Process:

#1: Applicant fills out the form below (Airport Badge Request)
#2: Applicant’s information is reviewed
#3: Applicant is notified of 1st badging appointment (finger printing), Applicant completes 1st Appointment
#4: Applicant’s information is reviewed by TSA and airport upon approval applicant is notified of 2nd Badging appointment
#5: Applicant completes 2nd and final badging appointment

Location Of Badging Appointments:

All Badging appointments are completed at the Des Moines Badging Office. Park in the hourly parking in the airport terminal parking area. The badging office is located on the second floor of the main airport terminal building. The badging office address is:

Badge Holder Responsibilities:

The badge holder is responsible for adhering to the following responsibilities:

– Follow Any/All policy issued by Des Moines airport authority, TSA, FAA or US Flight Co
– Return your Badge to the Des Moines badging office immediately after Being notified by US Flight Co of badge termination (Must be within 30 days to receive 100$ deposit back

Provide Two Dates And Times To Attend Your First Airport Badge Meeting. The date must be one week from today. The times must be between 9am and 4pm CST Monday - Friday(Required)
